International competition
Professional competition, judging and athlete experience sit at the heart of planned men’s and women’s events, creating opportunities for local talent to reach an international stage.
A professional stage
01 / OUR PURPOSE
Skateboarding is where it begins. Freedom for young people, opportunity for local communities, and momentum for cities are what drive WUKONG.
WUKONG CUP is developing as an independent international skateboarding competition brand. Through high-level events, we aim to get children and young people outdoors, moving and making friends, while bringing global attention to the businesses, makers and culture of each host city.
We welcome collaboration with experienced international event specialists, skatepark designers and local teams to create value that continues long after each competition.
02 / MORE THAN COMPETITION
A way in for every age and ability.
Activities depend on each host city and its confirmed program.
Professional competition, judging and athlete experience sit at the heart of planned men’s and women’s events, creating opportunities for local talent to reach an international stage.
A professional stagePlanned beginner sessions, equipment lending and coaching will welcome families and schools, helping children build a lasting habit of physical activity.
Youth participationBring music, food, art and local shops into the experience, inviting spectators to explore neighborhoods and giving visitors a reason to stay longer.
Local opportunityConnect local communities, coach development and athlete exchanges so the relationships and opportunities created by each event can keep growing.
Lasting impact03 / THE 25 + 25 COMMITMENT
Two distinct 25% commitments,
with traceable delivery and reporting.
MADE LOCAL
Our target is to manufacture at least 25% of official merchandise in the host country, measured by production value, prioritizing suitable partners in the host city and surrounding region.
Record actual manufacturing origins, distinguishing full manufacture from printing, packaging or other finishing only. Publish targets and results for each event.
GIVE BACK
After all event costs are deducted, 25% of each event’s positive net profit will be donated to the local community, supporting jointly selected needs and measurable goals.
Calculated from each event’s final accounts. If there is no positive net profit, no profit-based donation arises. The host agreement will define the accounting scope and payment arrangements.
An illustration only, not a forecast of event income or donations. Use the same currency for both amounts.
Support equipment and protective gear, free lessons, youth training, public activity spaces or other local priorities. Each supported project should identify its budget, beneficiaries, responsible organization and deadline, and track actual outcomes.
04 / A CONNECTED FUTURE
Connecting tourism, manufacturing and culture through skateboarding.
These are development plans, not a confirmed event calendar.
Starting in Taiwan, we are planning an annual international invitational and public skateboarding spaces to build lasting connections between cities, youth communities and international athletes.
